Review
Start Here is the sequel to Do Hard Things. Both books are equally amazing and inspiring that I could read and reread without growing tired of. But this time around, Start Here inspired me more than I expected.
All the stories of teens doing the impossible for God, doing hard things for His glory and not their own. It was amazing. I want to do that.
This book was just the boost and encouragement I needed to take the leap and do a hard thing that I’ve been wanting to do for several years now. I don’t know where it will go, but I hope it will turn into my own hard thing for God. Perhaps I’ll share about it soon!
So if you’ve been looking for a great nonfiction book to read that’s inspirational and motivates you to get out of your comfort zone, this is the book for you. This is a great book to jumpstart you into doing your own hard thing. We’re all capable of more than we think. We just have to do it!

Your turn!
What do you enjoy reading? Have you ever done something you felt was really hard? Do you have a desire to do hard things but don’t know where to start?
Blessings, Allyson

I love how so many Christian teen and ya writers have read this book. Just about every writing blog I’ve found has mentioned this duology. I technically got into the writing community by reading this duology. I didn’t even know about most of the writing blogs I now follow until I read Do Hard Things. It’s cool how God uses a book like this to show people their passions. I probably wouldn’t be writing today without the strong Christian writing community out there.
